The leather hide has been processed and tanned to give the finished antique, vintage rustic feel, and look of a leather notebook. This means that each hide might be slightly different from the other ones. You won’t be able to find two leather items exactly the same look due to a unique hand-finishing touch. Each piece of leather might have unique scratches and discolorations which add specific characteristics to a natural handmade leather item.

I absolutely love this pen holder. The quality you expect, well constructed with a unique presentation. It’s held up whether thrown in my bag or when I discover the toddler got a hold of it and to my horror, is stretching the elastic to its limits. No stitching has ever become loose, the elastic is secure within the leather and I’m always asked, where did you get that?! If you’re on the fence, take this as a sign. The craftsmanship alone is worth the purchase. I don’t carry a ton of pens with me on a day-to-day basis so this works beautifully for my needs and when wrapped around my Weeks, it stays put!
